If JEA is your utility

• JEA credits energy you send to the grid at JEA's fuel rate, while energy you buy is charged at the standard rate. Credits beyond your bill accrue through the calendar year, and JEA pays any remaining balance at year end as specified in its Distributed Generation Policy. Distributed generation customers can't enroll in JEA MyWay. Source: https://www.jea.com/environment/solar_options/distributed_generation/ (accessed 2026-10-20)
• JEA's Net Metering Policy credits Tier 1 (10 kW or less) and Tier 2 exports at the retail rate, including energy, fuel, environmental and conservation charges. Credit balances carry through the calendar year, then JEA pays the remainder. Source: https://www.jea.com/Pdf/Download/12884911383 (accessed 2026-10-20)
